Challenge
Our European regional health care systems do not yet sufficiently take into account ageing populations and need to be adapted in terms of quality and performance for active and healthy ageing.
Solution
TITTAN wants to improve regional innovation policy by exchanging good practices between seven EU regions. Based on the findings each region will implement those measures that benefit the development, adoption and use of innovative (technological) measures.
Role of the HealthFactory
Together with the Municipality of Almere, the HealthFactory gathers regional best practices and exchanges them transnationally towards an action plan to formulate local innovative policy based on the most effective measures for active and healthy ageing.
Initiator
The Interreg Europe project is a spin-off from the EIT project proposal LifeKIC, initiated by the Health Knowledge Agency (ACIS) of Galicia, Spain.
